どら焼きまるさん。
最近のお昼寝はここが多い。
Dorayaki Maru.
Maru often takes naps here these days.
まる：「最近ちょっと寝不足気味なので、しっかりと昼寝します。
あ、夕ご飯には必ず起こしてください。」
Maru:[I didn’t get enough sleep, so I’ll take a good nap. Be sure to wake me up for dinner.]
夜な夜なあちこちで大きな音を立てて回るまるさん。
ビニール袋をガサガサやったり、キッチンに置いてある金属ボウルなどをわざと床に落としたり。
そのうちみりも起きてドタバタと運動会が始まって、もう大騒ぎ。
1階がうるさいので、はなは2階に避難して、朝までしっかりと眠ります。
Maru walks around in the middle of the night making loud noises.
He makes plastic bag noises and deliberately drops things like bowls on the kitchen floor.
Miri eventually gets up and Maru&Miri start chasing each other.
The first floor is so noisy that Hana takes shelter upstairs and sleeps soundly until morning.
こちらは、椅子の上でご飯を食べているみり。
This is Miri eating on the chair.
まるとみりは、食べ物の好みがうるさくて、気に入らないフードだと一口も食べないことも。
それに加え、みりは食べる場所も気まぐれで、いつものご飯場所では食べずに、
別の場所にお皿を置くと食べることもしばしば。
Maru&Miri are fussy about food.
They don’t eat a single bite of food they don’t like.
In addition, Miri is particular about location.
When she doesn’t eat at her usual place to eat, I put her plate somewhere else.
Then she starts eating.
最後、お皿をピカピカにするのは、はな姉さんの仕事。
Finally, it’s Hana’s job to make Miri’s plates shine.
みり：「はな姉さん、お皿ピカピカにお願い。」
はな：「任せて！」
Miri:[Please make my plate shiny.]
Hana:[Leave it to me! ]
こんな時ばかり結託してる、はなみり。
Only on these occasions do Hana&Miri collude.
はな：「お皿をキレイにいたしましょう～♪」
Hana:[It’s fun to make plates sparkle!]
はな：「あの子ってば、今日はこんなところで食べたのね！ お手間かけて！」
Hana:[She ate here today, didn’t she?]
その他、玄関で食べることもあるし、洗濯機の上で食べることもあるし、2階で食べることもある。
Other times Miri eats at the front door, on the washing machine or upstairs.
