つい先日、まる・はな・みりが夕ご飯を食べていた時のこと。
みりは色々な場所でご飯を食べますが、その日ははなの隣に並んで食べていました。
ご飯は、いつもの食べ慣れたドライフードとウェットフードです。
食べ始めて少しすると、みりが掠れるような変な音を立てながら、
咳払いのような、食べ物を吐き出すようなしぐさをしはじめました。
どうやらご飯がのどに詰まってしまった様子。
本当に慌ててしまって、でもどうしていいのかわからなくて、「みり！」と呼びながら背中を叩くくらいしかできませんでした。幸いにも、3，4回咳払いのようなものをしたら詰まっていた食べ物が出てきたので、大事には至りませんでした。
みり自身はその後はケロッとして、残りのご飯を食べ始めましたが、本当にびっくりした出来事でした。
Just the other day, when Maru, Hana and Miri were having dinner.
Miri eats in many places, but on that day she was eating next to Hana.
The menu is the usual dry food and wet food.
A little while after Miri started eating, she started making gestures like coughing or spitting out food.
Miri seems to have choked on food.
I was so panicked, I didn’t know what to do, and all I could do was pat her on the back, calling her name “Miri!.”
Fortunately, when she cleared her throat three or four times, the stuck food came out, so it didn’t become serious.
I was really surprised, but after that Miri started eating again as if nothing had happened.
はなは隣で気にせず食べてたけど、みりの異変には気がつかなかった？
慌てたからだいぶうるさかったと思うけど。
Hana, did you notice anything unusual about her while you were eating next to Miri?
It must have been very noisy because I was panicking.
はな：「大丈夫、なーんにも気がつかなかった！」
Hana:[It’s OK. I didn’t notice anything!]
もちろんまるさんも、いつも通りでしたね。
Maru, you were of course the same as usual.
まる：「食事は目の前のご飯との対話です。目の前のご飯に全神経を集中させておりますので。」
Maru:[Eating is a dialogue with the food in front of me.
I am concentrating all my attention on the food in front of me.]
とにかくみり、ご飯は慌てず、ゆっくりと食べましょう！
