動画の中で少し触れましたが、まるさんは非常に皮膚に出来物ができやすい体質です。
できやすい場所は、頸部と頭部で、最初は1ミリにも満たないくらいの小さな出来物が、
少しずつ大きくなっていくので、毎回切除してもらっています。
そして毎回病理検査をしてもらうのですが、幸いすべて良性でした。

手術で大変なのは、手術自体への心配はもちろんなのですが、手術前の絶食がとても大変！
まるさんは、自分で調達しにキッチンを荒らし始めるので、なだめたり気を紛らわせたりして
過ごします。そして麻酔から覚めて帰ってきた後の食欲が、毎回ものすごい。
麻酔後のおぼつかない足取りでまたキッチンを物色し始めるので、消化に良い物を少しずつあげながら、術後の気持ちが落ち着くまで寄り添います。

Maru begins searching the kitchen to find food for himself.
So I try my best to calm him down and distract him.
And his appetite after coming home from anesthesia is amazing every time.
He starts scouring the kitchen again in his shaky post-anesthetic footsteps,
so I give him a little digestible stuff and snuggle up until he feels better after the operation.
動物病院では大暴れしちゃうまるさんですが、毎回頑張ってくれて本当にありがとうございます。
家に帰るために必死で戦っていると思うと、動物病院で怒っている姿もまた愛おしい。
