まーた入ってる！
と声を掛けたら、うるさそうな顔で振り向くまる。
Hey Maru, you’re in the box again!
まる：「うるさいですよ。小さい所に入るのは獲物を捕まえるための猫の習性です。獲物に見つからないように姿を隠しつつ、
獲物が現れたら素早く飛び出して捕まえる。これこそが狩りの神髄なのですよ。」
Maru:[Be quiet. It is a habit of the cat to catch game from the small place. Hiding oneself so as not to be found by a game. If game appears, I jump out quickly and catch it. This is the essence of the hunting.]
とそこへ、小さなクモが目の前を通り過ぎて行った。
A small spider passed his front then.
よっこらせ、と立ち上がった時には、クモはどこかに雲隠れ。
When he got up, the spider hid already.
まる：「クモはどこへ行った！？」
Maru:[Where is the spider?]
その時、再び姿を現したクモ。
Then the spider appeared again.
まる：「ここか！」
と手を伸ばしてみるも届かない。
Maru:[I catch it!]
But his hand has not reached that.
もたもたしているうちに、クモは素早く逃げていく。
While he was slow, the spider ran away quickly.
クモ：「はい、さよなら～。」
Spider:[Good bye!]
まる：「に、逃げられた。そんな馬鹿な。」
Maru:[I missed the spider. Really???]
まる：「ここで待っていればまた現れるはず。」
Maru:[If I wait here, the spider will appear again.]
でもきっとまた捕まえられないはず！
