少し前、冷蔵庫の上へのジャンプの仕方について書きましたが、
まるさんはこういう、高低差や距離のあるジャンプが得意だった。
でもやっぱり、見ている方はハラハラ、ヒヤヒヤ。
I wrote a while back about how cats jump to the top of the fridge.
Maru was good at this kind of jump with height difference and distance.
But after all, watchers were always on edge.
まる：「行きます！」
Maru:[I can go there!]
っていう顔してるけど、いやいやまるさん、ほんとに行ける？
気を付けて！
Can you really go there, Maru?
Be careful!
まる：「こんなの朝めし前です」
Maru:[Of course!]
まる：「よっ！」
Maru:[This is a piece of cake!]
そして飛びまる！
And flying Maru!
まる：「ドヤ！」
Maru:[Smug!]
着地の時、ドコン！ってすごい音がするから、見てない時は本当にびっくりするけど、
失敗してケガをしたことはなかった。さすがですね！
そしてはなみりは、ここの間のジャンプをしたことはない。
はなみりは、降りる時も奥の窓枠から。でもまるさんには、あの窓枠は幅が狭すぎて降りられなかったのでしょう。
When Maru lands, it makes a loud noise, which is especially surprising when I don’t see it.
But Maru has never been injured by failing to jump. Great!
And Hana&Miri have never jumped between them.
When Hana&Miri got off, they did so from the window frame too.
But the window frame was too narrow for Maru, so he probably couldn’t get down there.
