実は、まるさんの火葬の翌朝、ずっとここにいてくれた金魚（いちご）も旅立ってしまいました。
朝、みりがじーっと水槽を上から覗き込んでいて、
みりはたまに水槽の水を飲むことがあったので「みり、ダメだよ」って声をかけたのですが、
どうも様子がおかしいので見に行くと、金魚（いちご）が水槽の底で動かなくなっていました。
前の日は普通にご飯を食べていたのに…。
In fact, on the morning after Maru’s cremation, the goldfish (Ichigo) who had been here for a long time also departed.
In the morning, Miri was looking into the aquarium from above, and she sometimes drank water from the aquarium, so I said to her, “Miri, you can’t.”
But something was wrong, so when I went to check, I found the goldfish(Ichigo) was dead at the bottom of the tank.
Though the goldfish(Ichigo) had eaten normally the previous day…
出会いは約8年前。
一緒に来た金魚（紅子）が約2年前に先に旅立ち、
金魚（いちご）はまるさんと一緒にお空へと行ってしまいました。
猫と金魚なので一緒に遊ぶことはありませんでしたが、
たまにじーっと水槽を見ていることがあったので、お互いに認識はしていたかもしれません。

最初に異変に気付いたみり。
動かない金魚をずっと覗き込んでいる様子は、
「どうしたの？」って心配しているように見えました。
