まるさんを家に連れて帰るにあたってレンタルした酸素室。
午後注文して、翌日の午前中に届けてくれたのは本当に有難かった。
これは、いつもの動物病院で一泊したまるさんをお迎えに行く前に撮った写真。
この時はまだ、肺腺癌かリンパ腫かの確定診断が出る前だったので、
この酸素室でゆっくりと過ごしてもらって体力をつけ、
確定診断が出たら動物病院で治療方針について検討しようという、まだ希望があった時。
This is the oxygen room I rented to bring Maru home.
I ordered it in the afternoon and it arrived at my house the next morning.
I took this photo before picking Maru up from the vet clinic where he stayed overnight.
At this time, a definitive diagnosis of lung adenocarcinoma or lymphoma had not yet been made.
So I planned to let Maru relax here and build up his strength, and then once a definitive diagnosis was made, we would discuss a treatment plan at the vet.
There was still hope at this time.
レンタルの酸素濃縮器。空気を取り込み、酸素を濃縮して酸素室に送ります。
Rental oxygen concentrator. Air is taken in, oxygen is concentrated and sent to the oxygen chamber.
この酸素室は買い取り。軽くて、テントみたいに小さくたためます。
This oxygen chamber is purchased. It’s light and you can fold it up like a tent.

レンタルの酸素濃度計測器。動物病院の酸素室は50％に設定されていましたが、
こちらは30％～40％くらいで使用します。酸素濃度は高すぎてもダメ。
Rental oxygen meter. The oxygen room at the veterinary hospital was set at 50%, but we use it at 30% to 40%. The oxygen concentration should not be too high.
ゲージなどに閉じ込められるのは大嫌いなまるさんでしたが、
この酸素室にいるとやはり体が楽なのか、すんなりと入ってくれました。
でも、用がある時やここから出たい時は、鳴くか、透明な出入り口を前足でバン！
と豪快に叩いてお知らせしてくれたまるさんです。
Maru hated being confined to a gauge, but this oxygen chamber made him feel more comfortable, and he accepted it easily.
But when Maru needed something from me or wanted to get out, he would meow or bang vigorously on the transparent entrance with his front paws to let me know.
