はなは、大好きなまるさんのことなのでやはり何かを感じ取っていたらしく
まるさんが亡くなる日の夜は、酸素室にいるまるさんを見守るように、
遅くまでずっと傍にいました。
お昼寝の時、まるさんがいないと大鳴きしちゃうはななので心配していましたが、
まるさんがいなくなってしまった後、鳴いて探しまわる様子もなく、きちんと食欲もあります。
まるさんがいなくなった直後は、頻繁に膝の上に乗ってきていましたが、それも落ち着いてきたかなという感じです。
この間は、みりのお誕生日会の後にみりが不思議な動きをしたとお伝えしたのですが、
まるさんがいなくなった直後は、はなも不思議な動きをすることがありました。
普段は行かないレンジフード前のキャットタワーに上ってしばらくその辺をクンクンしたと思ったら、
今度は急いで降りて来てカーテンの後ろを行ったり来たり。
最初は、まるさんを探してるのかな？ とも思ったのですが、
もしかしたら身軽に動けるようになったまるさんが、家の中を自由に動き回っていたのかな？
とも思ったり。
朝、料理をしていると、冷蔵庫の前の辺りの匂いを嗅ぎに来ることもありました。
そういえば、その少し前に冷凍庫を開けた！
きっとまるさんがそこにいたのでしょう。
はなやみりには、まるさんの気配が感じられるのかもしれない。
そう思って、リビングで「まる！」っていつもみたいに大きな声で呼んでみたら、
近くにいたみりが立ち上がって、首を伸ばして隣の部屋を覗き込むように見ていました。
「まる兄さん、あっちにいるの？」（みりにまるさんの話をするときは、まる兄さんって呼んでる）
そう言って隣の部屋に行って「まる、ここにいるの？」って聞いてみたけど、何もわかりませんでした。

But after he was gone, she didn’t cry and look for him, and she had a decent appetite.

The other day, I told you that Miri moved strangely after her birthday party.
Right after Maru left, Hana sometimes made strange movements too.
Hana went up to the cat tower in front of the range hood, which she doesn’t usually go to, and she sniffed the area for a while, then she came down quickly and walked back and forth behind the curtain.
At first, is she looking for Maru? I thought so, but I wonder if he was able to move around freely in the house. I also thought.
When I was cooking in the morning, she sometimes came to smell the area in front of the refrigerator.
Come to think of it, I opened the freezer a little while ago!
Maru must have been there.
Perhaps Hana&Miri can sense Maru’s presence.
Thinking so, I called out “MARU!” in the living room as loudly as I usually do. Then Miri, who was near me, stood up, craned her neck and looked into the next room.
“Is Maru over there?”
Then I went to the next room and asked, “Maru, are you here?” but I didn’t understand anything.
