雷が超苦手なみりは、雷が鳴る１、2時間前からソワソワすることも。
Miri doesn’t like thunder very much,
and she often gets nervous an hour or two before the thunder.
みり：「来る、きっと来る！」
Miri:[I’m sure it will come!]
空はまだまだいい天気。雷どころか、雨さえも降りそうもありません。
The sky is still very nice. It is not likely to rain, let alone thunder.
はな：「何も感じないわよね？」
まる：「体の左半分にかなりの重みと暑さを感じておりますが。」
Hana:[You don’t feel anything, do you?]
Maru:[I feel a lot of weight and heat in the left half of my body.]
最初のうちは、晴れているのにソワソワするみりに
「みり、雷なんて鳴ってないよ」って声をかけていましたが、
その後必ず雷が鳴ることが判明。
雨だけで雷が鳴らない日は全く警戒せず、
むしろ雨が降っていても庭に遊びに行きます。
I used to say to Miri, “There’s no thunder,” when she was nervous even though
it was sunny. After that, however, it was discovered that there definitely was thunder
in a few hours.
Miri is not cautious at all on days when there is only rain and no thunder, but rather goes to the garden to play even if it is raining.
