この手の知育トイは久しぶり。
まるさんは普通のおもちゃには興味を示さないけど、おやつが絡めばまるさんも遊べるかな？
と思って買ってみました。
I bought an educational toy for the first time in a while.
Maru was no longer interested in cat toys,
but I thought he might play with them if treats were involved.
まるさんは色々なことを熟知していらっしゃるので、敢えて使い方は教えません！
さあまるさん、どうする？
Maru knows many things, so I won’t tell you how to use it.
Now what are you going to do?
まる：「ふむふむ、中におやつが入っていますね。ここから匂いがプンプンしてきます。」
Maru:[Oh I see, there are snacks in this. I can smell snacks from here.]
頭をつっ込んでおやつが中に入っていることを確認すると同時に、その部分が回ることも把握。
Maru stuck his head in there to make sure there were snacks inside, while also making sure the part would rotate.
まる：「これを回せばいいんですね。こんなの楽勝ですよ！」
Maru:[I’ll turn this. This is a piece of cake.]
さすがのまるさん、仕組みをすぐに理解して上手に回します。
Maru quickly figured out how it worked and turned it well.
まる：「だがしかし頭が入らない！ 設計ミスでは！？」
Maru:[But my head doesn’t fit here. Isn’t this a design mistake?]
一般的な猫の頭の大きさで設計されていると思います！
It should be designed with the size of a typical cat’s head!
ははもレクチャーなしでいけるかな？ と思ったのですが
I thought Hana could clear it without teaching, too. But,
はな：「ここにおやつが入っていることはわかっている！」
Hana:[I know there are snacks in here!]
はな：「さっさと出しなさい！」
Hana:[Serve the snack immediately!]
いかんせん、回し方が豪快過ぎた。
でも1回使い方を教えたらすぐに理解したはな。
The way Hana turned it was too dynamic.
But once I taught her how to use it, Hana understood it.
はな：「ああ、これを回せばいいのね。最初からそう言ってよ。」
Hana:[Oh, I see. You should have told me that first.]
そしてみりは――？
And how about Miri?
みり、これを回すとおやつが出てくるよ！ やってみて！
Miri, turn this and snacks will come out. Try it!
みりフリーズ。
Miri froze.
みり：「ねえ、これを回してくれない？ おやつが出てくるみたいなの。」
Miri:[Please turn it. Then snacks will be served.]
みりは人を使うことを覚えた！
Miri learned to use people!
