フードの好き嫌いが激しいみり。
ごはんを出したら、ろくに匂いも嗅がずにどこかへ行こうとしたので、
追いかけてもう一度お出ししました。
Miri is picky about food.
When I put the meal in front of Miri, she tried to leave without eating, so I put the plate near her again.
みり、ごはんだよ。
Miri, it’s meal time.
みり：「お片づけしまーす。」
Miri:[I’ll clean up.]
消えてなくなれ、とでもいうように、砂をかけるしぐさをし続ける。
カリカリもウェットも、最近よく食べていたものなので、どうも飽きてしまった様子。
Miri keeps making sanding gestures with the intention of making it disappear.
She seems to be tired of the food.
みり：「片づけても片づけてもこのお皿ずっとついてくるんだけど。」
Miri:[I cleaned it up, but this plate keeps following me.]
この後、別のカリカリに変えたら食べました。
まだみりの好みがよく分からないので、キャットフード選びが大変。
After this, when I changed to another food, Miri started eating.
It’s hard for me to choose cat food because I don’t really know Miri’s taste yet.
まるさんも、前は好き嫌いが激しかったけど、最近はずっと同じカリカリを食べている。
まるさんにとって大事なのは、混ぜるウェットフードと水分量のバランス。
水分が多すぎると、フードがお皿に張り付いて食べられないし、水分が少なすぎると
カリカリとの馴染みが悪くて、結局カリカリだけ残しがち。
適度にまんべんなく、カリカリとウェットフードが混ざり合っているのが、最近のお好み。
Maru used to be a picky eater, but lately he’s been eating the same dry food.
If there’s too much water, the food sticks to the plate and he can’t eat well.
If there’s too little water, the dry food doesn’t fit well and he tends to leave only the dry food. The mixture of dry food and wet food, which is moderately evenly distributed, is what he likes these days.
お手間がかかるのは変わりないですが、好みがわかっている分、まだやりやすい。
It takes a lot of work, but it is still easy to do because I know Maru’s taste.
まる：「鼻ぺちゃでも食べやすい、最適な混ぜ具合でお願いします。」
Maru:[Mix it with the optimum balance so that it is easy to eat even a flat face.]
そしてこちらは、出したら何でもガツガツ食べてくれるはな。
本当にありがたい。
