夜中に騒がず朝まで大人しく寝ていたら、偉いねと褒められる１６才のまるさん。
When Maru doesn’t make noise in the middle of the night and sleeps quietly until morning, he gets compliments.
まるさんはチビの頃から、夜中や早朝に色々な悪さをして寝ている人を起こし、
あわよくばご飯をもらおうとする。
一番よくやるのがキッチンへ行って、鍋の蓋をガチャガチャ鳴らす、
鍋がなければボウルや手当たり次第の物を落とす、ビニール袋類をガサガサ鳴らす。
明け方の４時が一番多いけど、夜中の１２時くらいの時もあれば、２時・３時くらいの時もある。
どうせ起こされたのだからと一度、鍋の蓋をガチャガチャ鳴らすまるさんの撮影を試みたけど、
人が起きると喜んで来てしまうので、どうしても撮れない。
Since Maru was a kitten, he has done a lot of bad things in the middle of the night.
What Maru often does is he rings the lid of the pot in the kitchen.
If he don’t find a pot, drop bowls and other items on the floor.
Then he rings a plastic bag.
I wanted to videotape it, but I can’t because he’d be happy to come to me when I wake up.
後は、響くお風呂場に行ってニャーニャー騒ぐ。普段無口なくせに。
Then Maru meows in the bathroom where the sounds echo. Usually he’s quiet.
そういえば、夜中にブランコ遊びはしないんですね！

まる：「ブランコは午前中限定の遊びです。」
Maru:[I only play with the swing in the morning.]
これまで、午前中にいっぱい遊んだり対策はしてきたけど、特に効果はなし。

みり：「最近は眠いから付き合ってあげられないの。ごめんなさいね。」

前は、まるさんが騒ぎ出すとみりも一緒になって騒ぎ出すので本当に騒々しかったけど、
最近はみりはつられないようになってきたので、騒ぐのはまるさんだけ。

夜中の大騒ぎは、はなは本当に迷惑そう。
