今年も猫書道家まる・はな・みりによる、とても素敵で有難い書をいただきました！
I received a very nice calligraphs by cat calligrapher Maru, Hana and Miri again this year!
まずは猫書道家のまるさんより、ご自身の作品についてお話を伺いたいと思います。
ずばり、今回のご自身の書の出来栄えはどうでしょう？
First, I would like to hear from Maru about his calligraph.
How do you feel about your calligraphy this time?
まる：「素晴らし過ぎてしっぽの揺れが止まりません。」
Maru:[It’s so wonderful that my tail won’t stop swinging.]
そして今回の書には、どのような思いを込められたのでしょうか？
What thoughts did you put into your calligraphy this time?
まる：「〇（まる）は素晴らしいという思いを込めて描きました。
2023年は是非みんなでまるくなりましょう。」
Maru:[I put a thought into my work that circle(Maru) is wonderful. Let’s all be a circle(Maru) in 2023!]
丸い心で穏やかに過ごしましょうという、とても有難い書でございます。
It is a very grateful calligraphy that says let’s live calmly with a circle mind.
はなさんはご自身の作品は何点だと思いますか？
How many points do you think your calligraphy has, Hana?
はな：「100点満点！」
Hana:[100 percent perfect! ]
どんな思いを込めて書いたのでしょうか？
What thoughts did you put into your calligraphy this time?
はな：「ちゃっちゃと書いて早くご飯を食べたいという思いを込めて書きました。」
Hana:[I wrote it with the desire to finish it quickly and eat quickly.]
すべきことは後回しにせずさっさと済ませてしまおうという、とても有難い教えでございます。
It’s a very helpful teaching to get things done quickly without putting them off.
みりさんは、ご自身の今回の書についてはどう思いますか？
How do you feel about your calligraphy, Miri?
みり：「難しいことはよくわかんないんだけど…。」
Miri:[I still don’t know what’s difficult…]
それじゃあ、何を考えながら書きましたか？
Well, what were you thinking while you wrote that calligraphy?
みり：「なーんにも考えてなかった！」
Miri:[Nothing!]
あるがままの心で自分らしくいようという、とても有難い書でございます！
Her calligraphy taught me that it’s important to be yourself with your heart as it is!
