I made a stump cat steps out of a tree in my garden that had broken off years ago.
The surface has been sanded to avoid prickling.
切り株の上できちんと座っているまるさん。置物みたい。
Maru sits like a figurine on the stump.
みりが来たら、鳥さんも来たね！
When Miri came, so did the birds!
みり：「ずっと話しかけてくるから帰れなくなっちゃった。」
Miri:[A lot of birds talked to me, so I couldn’t go home.]
写真を撮る間もなく立ち去ったはな。
Hana went away before I could take a picture.
はな：「あなしそんなに暇じゃないの。ちゃっちゃと雑草食べて、早く帰らなくちゃ。」
Hana:[I’m not so free. I have to eat the weeds quickly and go home quickly.]
