今年はもうカブトムシが来てくれないかと思いましたが、
メスのカブトムシが飛んできてくれました。
午前中、庭に出ていたら、ぶーんと本当に飛んできた。
A female rhinoceros beetle flew into the garden.
まる：「これは、例のあれですね。」
Maru:[Yes, I know this.]
まる＆はなはなんだかんだ毎年見ているから、見慣れているかも。
みりも、去年も見たはずだけど、ちょっと怖い？
Maru&Hana see rhinoceros beetle every year, so they are used to it.
I think Miri saw it last year too, but she seemed a little scared.
みり：「なにあれ。噛みつかない？」
Miri:[What is that? Doesn’t that bite me?]
みり：「ちょっと怖いけど――」
Miri:[I’m still a little scared but,]
最後に勇気を出して、お尻をちょんと触ってみた。
Miri bravely touched it’s buttocks.
１０分くらいのご滞在で庭の木に放したのですが、
その後みりはソファの周りでカブトムシを捜していました。
いなくなってちょっと寂しかった？
I released the beetle on a tree in the garden after this.
And Miri was looking around the sofa.
She was probably a little lonely.
