昨日はみんなで鏡開きをしました。
Yesterday was the day of kagami-biraki.
まる：「そういえば今年の鏡餅は小さいですね。」
Maru:[By the way, this year’s kagami-mochi is small.]
確かに。去年はまるが入れるくらい大きな鏡餅でしたね！
毎年鏡餅のサイズを悩みます。
どのサイズが一番楽しいか（バチ当たり！）
It’s sure! Last year, Maru was able to get into the kagami-mochi.
There are so many sizes of kagami-mochi that I worry a lot every year. About which size they can enjoy the most.
そして去年のみりはまだこんなに小さかった。
（まるはやること変わってない）
And last year Miri was still small.
(Maru did the same thing last year.)
今年はこちらの鏡餅まるもちゃんと鏡開きいたしました！
