This is the usual view.

おもちゃで遊ぶはなと、箱に入っているまる。
Hana plays with a toy, and Maru is in the box.
まるが入るのを散々目の当たりにしているはなに、今さらながら箱を差し出してみる。
はなさん、これをどうぞ。
I take the box to Hana who always watches that Maru gets into it.

はな：「え、なに。別にいらないけど。」
Hana:[No thank you.]
さあさあ、遠慮しないで、思う存分入っちゃってください。
Do not hold back.

はな：「いっつも思ってるけど、これに入るとか意味わかんない。」

はながぐずぐずしていると、まるが横入り。
Hana was hesitant, so Maru barged in.

まる：「チビにはまだ早い。」
Maru:[She’s still a child, so she can’t understand this pleasure.]
